Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Preparation in shipping and receiving of goods to and from the AT&T Supply Chain facility. Manage and process inventory and relocation of equipment for Operations and Network Services and process equipment to support Operations, Engineering and Projects.
Inventory and spares management projects as needed. Data entry/inventory tracking of equipment specifics upon receipt and prior to shipping. Prep equipment for shipment, labeling and re-stocking to proper location in warehouse and spares location as needed. Recording equipment specifics and processing, shipping and storing equipment as needed. Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy. Maintenance of warehouse. High School diploma or equivalency required. 3-5 years of warehousing operations experience, including receiving, inventory control, shipping and safety procedures. Experience with shipping and receiving (Federal Express, UPS and pallet preparation), database entry and inventory management. Ability to complete shipping and receiving documentation. Operate a variety of office and warehouse equipment and machines. Ability to maintain professionalism and customer service, working with all levels within the organization.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets (Excel) and databases. Working knowledge of inventory tracking systems and handheld scanners preferred.
Self-motivated and willing to accept additional responsibilities. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and escalate issues, help formulate resolution and implement solutions. Knowledge of hazardous materials documentation and procedures required.
Mobility experience preferred. Forklift - Basic Operations preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift heavy equipment occasionally 20-40 lbs and assist with heavier equipment as needed. Ability to prioritize daily activities and follow directions to completion.
Experience with PO receipts, cycle counts, cross dock processing, and RMA processing preferred.
Occasional travel required. Candidate must possess a valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
