What You’ll Be Doing: Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and track operational metrics. Analyze financial data and construct financial models to support decision-making. Prepare reports on financial performance for regular leadership reviews. Review past results, conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and suggest improvements. Assess financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts. Lead the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures. Offer analysis of trends and forecasts, recommending optimization actions. Recommend actions based on data analysis and interpretation, including studying proposed changes in methods and materials. Drive process enhancements, such as creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards. Enhance productivity through the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools. Conduct market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons. Maintain a solid foundation in financial analysis by creating forecasts and models. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is typically required for financial analyst roles; familiarity with data query and management tools such as Access, SQL, and Business Objects is highly beneficial. What You Bring to the table: 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience High proficiency in financial modeling techniques Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Strong analytical and data gathering skills Financial modeling: 3 years (Required) Financial analysis: 3 years (Preferred) Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required) Financial report writing: 3 years (Required) Financial planning: 3 years (Required)
