SAIC is looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Corporate CRE team.
This position is 100% remote nationwide, candidates local to Reston, VA, Orlando, FL, or Huntsville, AL, preferred.
Duties Include:
- Staff Account to assist with management of all financial processes related to Corporate Real Estate (CRE) accounting while balancing operational needs.
- Primary responsibility will be management of the cost allocation process
- Ensuring the allocations are compliant with our disclosure statement
- Working with the line to update project number and orgs accordingly each period
- Working with the line to resolve any questions and processing misc. corrections if required
- Ensuring the sq. ft. data is complete and ready for allocations – ensuring all sq. ft. is accounted for
- Ensuring the allocation data is ready for allocations by running, reviewing, and resolving several exception reports
- Processing the allocations each period
- Forecasting and planning the sq. ft. for each location for each required reporting cycle
- Assisting with service center reviews and determining if retro allocations are needed
- Assisting with close out of Projects such that CIP balances are closed and assets are set up
- Performing periodic balance sheet and expense accounts reconciliations
- Preparing periodic ad hoc analysis and reports
- Preparing periodic accruals
- Assisting with preparing and submitting period end journal entries
- Prepare monthly invoice packages for various locations
- Assisting with all internal, DCAA, and external audits
Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years experience, Master's and one (1) year experience;
- US Citizenship is required
- Highly proficient in Costpoint/Cognos reporting
- Background in government contracting
- Strong organizational, verbal, written, analytical, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills required
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel and MS word
- Ability to effectively interact with multiple levels of employees
- Ability to work in a fast pace deadline driven environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired Qualifications:
