Job description
Austin Print Co. is a growing print shop specializing in a wide range of printing services, including UV printing, DTF T-shirt printing, and laser engraving. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The Production Assistant will play a vital role in our print shop operations by assisting with the production process, operating our UV Printer, DTF T-shirt Printer, and laser engraver. Although not required, candidates with graphic design experience are highly desired. If you are a hardworking, quick learner with a passion for print production, we want to hear from you! Work days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Operate UV Printer, DTF T-shirt Printer, and laser engraver, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to customer specifications.
- Maintain and clean equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed. Assist with the preparation of print files, ensuring proper formatting and color management.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and seamless communication. Provide input on the improvement of production processes and techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in print technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a print production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
