We are a water/wastewater contractor that has been in operation for almost 80 years. We have served our clients in Georgia, Virginia, and the Carolinas with fairness, honesty, and integrity. We are currently searching for a superintendent who will guide our site coordination, communication, and meetings for water/wastewater treatment plant construction. We are looking for a team player who will add to our well-established reputation in safety and respect for our environment and projects. -Water/waste water construction
-Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
-Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
-Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
-Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies
-Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
-In-depth understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations
-Great problem-solving and decision-making skills
-Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal-setting and conflict management
-Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking
-5+ years of superintendent experience
-experience in industrial, water/waste water
-Experience with government contracts a plus
-Building a master schedule
-OSHA 10, OSHA 30 a plus
-Salary $90 - $120 (Doe)
