The Horst Group, a growing Lancaster-based, family-owned, multi-company organization is seeking a Property Manager . A Community Manager provides support in management and direction to ensure the portfolio of properties is m aintained and operated in accordance with the objectives of each Association and the Company. This is a full-time primarily daytime position with some traveling within Central PA required. Core hours are Monday- Friday, with occasional evening meetings. Salary is commensurate with experience in the $40,000-$50,000 range.
J ob duties and requirements:
- Prior property management, real estate experience, or related customer service management experience is REQUIRED
- Assists in the management of a portfolio of properties (8-10 minimum) located in Central PA
- Possess strong customer service skills and build/maintain relationships with the communities' residents, board members, vendors
- Ability to multi-task and be very organized
- Assists in the preparation of budgets, review financials, and process financial matters
- Assists in interpreting documents to enforce regulations and makes regular site inspections
- Assists in the negotiation with contractors and supervise proje cts
- Assists in the oversight of the maintenance of property and facilities by way of regular site visits
- Attends meetings (day or evening), draft meeting minutes, and assists in overseeing action plans
- Assists in resolving inquiries, questions, and complaints from owners via phone and email
