YOUR LIFE AS A PEDIATRIC OT

This full-time occupational therapy position with our human services organization works the day shift during business hours .

In this occupational therapy position, you work with your team and use occupational therapy procedures to provide quality support and services for children and their families. You participate in team evaluations to determine the developmental status and eligibility of your patients as well as to develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs). You then execute that plan and provide therapeutic treatments. To ensure we are providing optimal care to each patient, you help to maintain our equipment and workspace.

Meticulously, you prepare clinical notes detailing the child's strengths, needs, and progress. You maintain professional standards and continuously work to improve your skills and therapy techniques. The safety of your patients is of the utmost importance to you, and you take great care to practice infection control by following universal precautions. You also actively recognize and report any forms of abuse according to policy as well as federal and state laws. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Three years of experience working with children as a therapist is preferred but not required. If you can meet these requirements and perform this occupational therapy job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our human services team!
