About the Role: Hive Media Group seeks a highly motivated Content Coordinator to join our team in this newly created role. The ideal candidate lives and breathes viral-type stories, breaking news, & web culture. You will manage large amounts of digital content, analyze trends, and actively participate in content strategy discussions while adapting to changing digital landscapes.
The role requires attention to detail, including fact-checking and citing sources, while moving quickly to meet ambitious publishing goals. Accountability is key– the person in this role must take ownership of quality and correctness as the final eyes on digital content before it's published to large audiences.
*****This is a full-time, Hybrid position in London, ON *Applicants must submit a cover letter/resume with your application to be considered** Responsibilities: - Curate and identify our best and highest-performing stories for expanded use.
- Revise published articles with new information as needed.
- Analyze performance trends of published articles in terms of content type, subject, and other key metrics.
- Manage a high level of content output requirements daily.
- Provide daily and weekly reports.
Skill Requirements: - Has 1 year of high-volume digital media publishing experience in a professional setting.
- Has the ability to quickly manage high volumes of content.
- Able to continuously meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong research skills
- Has an eye for attention-grabbing image selection and click-worthy headlines.
- Extremely organized with close attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- A collaborative, resourceful attitude
- Strategically utilizes AI and new technologies
