Position Purpose:

Represents the overall interests of the company and sales team and assists the Sales Manager in the planning, administration, monitoring and optimizing the performance of the Inside Sales department. Responsible for positively promoting the organisation to its customers and prospects at a national level. Embraces the Vision, Mission and Values of Shred-it.

Key Job Activities:

Providing leadership to, motivating and inspiring a team of Inside Sales Executives to meet and exceed sales targets & associated KPI’s.

Ensuring daily work schedules for Inside Sales Executives are prepared and distributed.

To provide a regular and consistent channel of communication and updates to the sales & management teams.

Ensuring employees maintain standards to following schedules as designed, as well as ensuring personal & team adherence to policy & process.

Outwardly demonstrating the company’s core values to all colleagues & encouraging team members to actively live the values.

Proving feedback, encouragement, support and coaching on an ongoing basis to all team members, to maintain the required team standards and progress those who are developing for future progression.

Preparing and conducting regular 1 – 1’s, performance reviews & team meetings.

Maintaining harmony throughout the team, creating a sense of ownership within each team member and resolving employee issues, if any.

Handling escalated calls, queries & complaints as necessary.

Ensuring, on a consistent basis that all departmental objectives are achieved or exceeded, including all targets, operating metrics and KPI’s.

Ongoing production and presentation of detailed appraisals of team member performance to the management team as required.

To input value and insight into campaign preparation & performance.

Striving for new ways to continually improve sales performance and customer sales experience.

Actively participate as a team leadership SME in meetings of all levels, whether that be Team, Peer or Upwardly.

Supporting the Manager Sales in maintaining all general office functions to provide a consistent high performing sales environment.

Education:

Required Education: in Vocational Training Completed or Bachelors

Required Education:  High School or equivalent.

Preferred Education:  Associate's or equivalent.

University/college education or equivalent volume call environment experience.

Experience (EMEAA):

3+ years required experience.

Self-motivated & results oriented – motivated by success.

Exceptional listening & motivating skills.

Strong computer literacy, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite.

Proficient in the use & understanding of CRM systems, Salesforce, preferred.

Excellent time management & organisational skills.

In depth knowledge & awareness of a range of telesales techniques and processes.

Proven experience of working with a competitive target driven Sales team.

Ability to maintain and display a constant positive attitude.

To be able to operate under pressure in a high volume, competitive telesales environment.

Ability to evidence the aptitude for a leadership or management role.

To be able to showcase ability to interact confidently and professionally with people of all levels. 

A can-do attitude, with the relentlessness to ensure activities and targets are met.

A champion of continuous improvement, with the adaptability to adjust working routines, workflows, operating rhythms easily & as necessary.

Must be qualified to work in the Germany and have a clean criminal records check.
