Discover your exciting role
The Supply Chain Intern with Exyte provides a hands-on learning
experience. The intern will have the opportunity to develop,
participate and learn key roles and functions within Supply
Chain Management.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Prepares purchasing documents
- Reviews purchase requests for pertinent and
accurate information, prepares and processes purchase orders
for materials and equipment and e-qualification of suppliers
and subcontractors
- Maintains proper documentation of the
procurement processes such as purchase orders, work orders, and
supplier agreements
- Complies with all applicable processes and
procedures
- Utilizes all related procurement
software
- Assists with the prequalification process
for all bidders
- Develops bidders list for approval,
tracking and administration
- Supports the vendor selection and
notification process
- Supports the supplier qualification
process
- Maintains project procurement status logs,
vendor databases, and correspondence
- Other duties as assigned
Show your expertise
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or
graduate degree in Supply Chain Management or related
- Ability to work full-time during the summer
(May-August)
- 0+ years of experience
- Prior experience working in Procurement or
Sourcing experience preferred
- Experience working in Procurement in
manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction
environment preferred
- Experience working in projects in a
construction / project environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication
skills
- Exceptional organization and coordination
skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products
(e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- SAP, Oracle, Ariba experience preferred
