Job description
PHLEBOTOMIST: Hiring a Phlebotomist. Require the skills of collecting all sample types, including blood draws.
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7:45a - Close
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets, receives and prepares patients for lab procedures; carefully verifies patient demographics prior to obtaining the specimen.
- Obtains blood specimens from patients by skin puncture or venipuncture using appropriate techniques.
- Instructs patients in the proper collection of urine samples.
- Obtains buccal swab specimens from patients using appropriate techniques.
- Obtains nasal specimens from patients using appropriate techniques.
- Maintaining the integrity of all specimen types.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of the recognized training program in phlebotomy, six months to one-year related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Ability to procure blood.
