We are currently looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to our team. We operate four branches around the Chicagoland area, each with their own set of deep client relationships. We are seeking someone to come in a continue to develop our combined partnership model, allowing clients access to the sophistication and peace of mind they have come to expect from a multi-branch organization of our combined size and scale.
Position Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company, focused on the Commercial Landscape and Commercial Snow clients. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a sales strategy to drive business growth, developing relationships with new potential clients, and managing the sales process in conjunction with branch leadership to ensure all the client’s expectations are met.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company, including commercial properties, corporate campuses, educational institutions, and similar class A properties.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. We are deeply committed to growing our commercial services segment and are aggressively targeting double digit revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through various channels, including networking events, cold-calling, and follow-up communication.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the sale, including creating and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing client expectations
- Attend industry events and associations to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Monitor market trends and assess the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions of new business and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software (We utilize Aspire and Hubspot)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
