Job description

Linfield University invites applications for a tenure-track position in computer science at the associate professor rank, to begin Fall 2024. This position requires candidates to have an interest in and ability to help with the redesign and maintenance of the computer science program.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Linfield University includes six full-time, tenure/tenure-track faculty. While the department serves a significant role in support of other disciplines, especially in the natural sciences, digital arts, health sciences, economics, and finance, it also maintains an active program of preparing students for graduate study and careers such as teaching, software engineering, data science, and actuarial science. The department graduates approximately 20 majors and 15-20 minors each year.
