Job description
This position will teach students in grades 8-12, from the introductory level through our two year AP Photography track. Our classes take place in a facility that includes two dedicated Mac labs with a total of 42 stations (NEC monitors), wide-format printers up to 44”, a lighting studio, a 17 station darkroom (35mm to 4x5), a film processing/alt-process room, and a print finishing room.
In all of our Arts programs we seek skilled and passionate artist-teachers who can guide and inspire our students. The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree in Studio Art or Photography, and will have the following interests and experience:

The Visual Arts department offers a required Middle School curriculum emphasizing the elements and principles of art and design along with guided practice in a variety of art making processes and media, including photography. In the Upper School, students complete a two-year sequence of Foundations courses in either studio art or photography before having the option to move on to AP or other advanced work.
