Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Champion Our Mission: Articulate the vision, values, and fundraising priorities of the passion and clarity.
Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Forge strong connections with prospective and current donors through personalized engagement and effective communication, including regular travel and beyond.
Drive Fundraising Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, fostering a culture of philanthropy within our community.
Facilitate Collaboration: Inspire and coordinate the involvement of college leadership, faculty, staff, and volunteers in fundraising activities, fostering a cohesive team environment.
Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with teams across , including Development, Prospect Research and Management, Marketing and Communications, Stewardship, and Gift and Fund Administration.
Minimum Qualifications:

Passion for Environmental Stewardship: Demonstrate a genuine commitment to our mission and values, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven Track Record: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and five or more years of development experience, including at least two years in fundraising within higher education or a related nonprofit sector.
Fundraising Expertise: Possess a solid understanding of major gift fundraising principles and practices, with a track record of successful donor cultivation and solicitation.
Desired Qualifications:

Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental issues specific to the Rocky Mountain West region.
