Treasury Manager
Job Description: The Treasury Manager will manage all aspects of the treasury function, including daily cash management, cash flow forecasting, and analysis. This is an opportunity for someone with a strong business acumen and thorough knowledge of corporate banking processes to serve as an integral part of our Accounting team. The ideal candidate possess strong interpersonal skills, takes initiative to drive action, and can work under deadlines.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash, investments, and liquidity management, minimize financial risk, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial markets to spot inflation, interest rate, and other patterns that may have an impact on the company's return on investments and/or capital needs.
- Oversee account services and administration for new and existing bank accounts, negotiate favorable terms for service and identify opportunities to ensure efficient treasury operations and access to appropriate financial services.
- Manage the company's cash position, including cash flow forecasting and analysis to provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the execution of the daily cash process, including disbursements (initiating wires, intercompany transfers, etc.) and monitoring incoming payments.
- Review bank account reconciliations and ensure all bank balances and GL balances are reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certificates in accordance with the bank agreements.
- Develop policies, procedures, reporting, and internal controls for the treasury function.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting on key treasury metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and other financial service providers.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Certified Treasury Professional (CPT) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
- 5+ years of related experience working in a corporate treasury environment
- Experience with foreign currency a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex financial challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
