Aspen Careers, LLC is working with a downtown Columbus professional services employer who is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee the billing, accounting, and financial operations of their local office.
Job Title: Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of local office billing and accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly billing and collection activities.
Expense Management: Oversee all check and expense reimbursement requests for the local office, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Accounting Support: Provide accounting support locally, including assisting the firmwide finance team with accounts receivable reports and collection procedures. Collaborate with finance team members to ensure smooth operation of financial processes.
Budget Preparation: Prepare the local office operating budget, working closely with management to establish financial goals and objectives for the fiscal year.
Financial Reporting: Compile office financial reports, conduct analysis, and prepare reports as assigned, providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance.
