WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking an innovative, highly motivated Proposal & Marketing Coordinator to create compelling proposals, qualification statements, and general marketing collateral for a professional engineering services firm. This key partner on EBA's marketing team will drive strategy and manage overall proposal development efforts. The person will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm's success by leading the development of compelling proposals that showcase our expertise, capabilities, and unique value proposition to clients.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage, develop, and produce proposal responses for state and local agencies.
• Perform research and interview staff to help write/translate complex concepts into a narrative that can be understood by non-technical readers.
• Tailor proposal and marketing material to effectively communicate EBA's strengths, qualifications, and value proposition.
• Edit proposal and presentation materials for readability, clarity, tone of voice, consistency, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and formatting.
• Conduct thorough proposal reviews and edits to confirm compliance with RFP requirements.
• Write technical copy for proposals and brochures.
• Develop effective methods for presenting and organizing proposal information, such as the use of infographics, tables, and images.
• Prepare interview materials and presentations for shortlisted proposals.
• Develop content for the company's intranet, newsletters, website, and LinkedIn.
• Prepare award submissions.
• Create and update employee resumes and project descriptions in Deltek Vision.
• Coordinate and attend tradeshows and industry events.
• Foster productive and rewarding working relationships with internal and external clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, English, communications, or associated field
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on proposal writing in the AEC industry
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Experience leading proposal responses from prepositioning through proposal submission and interview/presentation
• Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Excellent Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills

Desired Requirements

• Experience with SF330 proposals
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with CRM systems such as Deltek Vision and Unanet CRM
