Job description
Dine Source seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Marketing Specialist to drive the implementation of expanded and more effective Category Management (CM) communications in alignment with the Strategic Communications Plan. The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in facilitating CM impact generation across the Defense Acquisition Force (DAF) enterprise by overseeing the creation and dissemination of Success Stories, developing targeted videos for stakeholder engagement and training, expanding stakeholder engagement initiatives, increasing communication events, and implementing a content strategy for the CM SharePoint site. The successful candidate will work on a surge basis through September 2024, collaborating closely with on-demand audiovisual professionals to ensure the successful execution of communication initiatives.
- Develop a standardized template for creating Success Stories that highlight CM impacts across the DAF enterprise.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to identify and document "quick wins" and long-term CM initiatives.
- Ensure wide dissemination of Success Stories through various communication channels.
- Create targeted videos to support stakeholder engagement and training, focusing on documenting Success Stories.
- Organize listening sessions and focus groups to gather feedback for informing CM change management strategy.
- Support the increase in overall communication events from 32 in FY23 to 57+ in FY24, including planning, facilitation, and material development.
- Develop and implement a content strategy for building traffic on the CM SharePoint site, including content creation and analytics monitoring.
- Work closely with on-demand audiovisual professionals to produce high-quality videos and multimedia content.
- Provide clear guidelines and objectives for each project to ensure alignment with CM communication goals.
- Monitor progress, track outcomes, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Document outcomes and lessons learned to inform future communication efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with a focus on content development and dissemination.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitating group discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
- Familiarity with audiovisual production processes and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
