About the Job

This is a reporting specialist position within the University of Minnesota Foundation's (UMF) Information Technology (IT) department. The department administers the donor and alumni database of over a million records for the University of Minnesota on an enterprise-wide level. The systems include the donor management, fund accounting, and data warehouse applications. These systems are designed, built, and supported using state-of-the-art web-based technologies and are used by over 1,800 active users on five campuses. The highly sophisticated web system utilizes Oracle databases and development tools.

The primary responsibilities of this position are: (1) under direct supervision, provide day-to-day database query and reporting support for mission critical applications, (2) write and test ad hoc reports, (3) support existing application programs in a web environment, (4) document processes and communicate with end users. 

Starting salary: $58,000- 62,000 based on experience.
