In this position…
As a DevSecOps/ Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of automating and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of our containerized applications, and facilitating continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security at every phase of the software development lifecycle.
What you’ll do…
+ Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
+ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton and other CI/CD technologies.Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resilience.
+ Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage GCP resources.Ensure container security by managing container images, scanning for vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices.
+ Collaborate with development teams to incorporate security considerations and compliance standards into the development process.
+ Monitor and respond to security incidents, and continuously improve incident response strategies.
+ Stay current with new technologies and security trends to advise on potential impacts to the organization.
You’ll have…
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
+ 3+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role with a strong focus on security practices.
+ 2+ years utilizing Kubernetes for container orchestration.
+ 2+ years with CI/CD tools, specifically Tekton, or similar technologies.
Even better, you may have…
+ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
+ Strong understanding of cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform ( GCP ), including hands-on experience with GCP services and management.
+ Expertise in writing and managing Terraform modules for IaC.
+ Knowledge of container security principles and experience with container image scanning tools.
+ Familiarity with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CKAD / CKA , Terraform Associate, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer) are considered a plus.
