Job description
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Communication Assistant to join our team. As a Communication Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our communication efforts across various channels. You will work closely with the communication team to ensure that our messaging is clear, consistent, and effectively reaches our target audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
- Social Media Management: Manage and monitor our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and tracking analytics to measure engagement.
- Event Support: Provide logistical support for events, including coordinating with vendors, preparing materials, and assisting with on-site coordination as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and handling correspondence.
- Research: Conduct research on communication trends, audience preferences, competitor activities, and other relevant topics to inform our communication strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, public relations, and design, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
