Job description
Ophthalmic Technician open positions in Somerset, Monroe and Princeton, NJ.
Will work at office closest to your home. Hours: can start as early as 7:45 AM or 8:45 AM to 3:30 or at 5:30 occasional evening once a week to 8 PM one office does have a Saturday morning and all technicians rotate. (will also consider someone for part-time nights and weekend).This practice has nine ophthalmologists two ODs and 18 technicians. Experienced Ophthalmic Technician needed for busy, multi-specialty practice.. Work with paper charts no EMR.
Must be proficient in most of these areas:
Detailed history taking, Knowledge of eye terminology and pharmacology, Manual refractometry a+. Will train a light experienced technician.
Auto lensometry, Scribing, Diagnostic testing (visual field, OCT, topography)
Fluorescein Angiography/Fundus Photos (willing to train). Pupillary assessment, Tonometry
