Job Description:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (minimum 4 years experience related to battery pack management).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading CAE projects with a focus on battery systems, particularly in electro-thermal simulation.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in CAE tools and simulation software related to battery systems and thermal analysis (Matlab & Star CCM).
- In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, electrochemistry, and thermal management strategies.
- Working experience with JLR and JLR process knowledge are added advantages.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- eBOM Management, Issue Management, EBER management, and DFMEA / DRBFM for Battery electro thermal CAE.
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of CAE projects focused on battery electrothermal performance.
- Maintain project schedules. Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- To act as a point of first contact for Electro thermal CAE issues encountered during assembly.
- Oversee the development and application of CAE models to simulate the electro-thermal behavior of battery systems.
- Collaborate with thermal engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy in simulation results.
- Analyze simulation results to optimize battery thermal management strategies.
