SUMMARY

Banyan is seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Informatics to lead the integration and advancement of our technology platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping how our hospital clients and internal virtual care team members utilize technology to enhance patient outcomes, improve quality of care, ensure robust reporting, and support the fiscal viability of hospitals. The Director of Informatics will be at the forefront of expanding the utilization of Banyan's proprietary software, Care Connect, and ensuring seamless integration with client EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive informatics strategy that aligns with Banyan's mission and business objectives. Oversee the integration of technology to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

1. Technology Integration : Facilitate the integration of Care Connect with various EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech), ensuring compatibility, security, and efficiency.

1. Innovation and Expansion : Identify and implement innovative technology solutions to expand the use of Banyan's virtual care team members. Explore and develop additional use cases to enhance Banyan products and drive sales growth.

1. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with hospital clients, internal teams and technology partners to understand needs and deliver effective solutions. Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.

1. Quality and Compliance : Monitor and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in all technology initiatives and data management practices.

1. Reporting and Analytics: Leverage technology to provide insightful reporting and analytics that support decision-making and demonstrate the value of Banyan's services.

1. Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a team of informatics professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in healthcare informatics, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Proven track record of successfully integrating healthcare technology systems.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) and their integration points.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive technology initiatives that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
