Job description
Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a client in Janesville, WI. This is a direct hire role! Pay is from $70-80,000 based on experience. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for storage, inventory, and distribution of in-process and/or finished goods and materials.
Job Duties Include:
Directly supervises the Pickers, Packers, Pharma Picker and BIN Replenisher. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Oversees the storage, inventory, and distribution of in-process and finished goods and materials.
Directs traffic and shipping operations.
Develops and initiates methods and procedures for testing of company products or services.
Responsible for overall operating costs and budget, methods and procedures, and efficiency.
Establish acceptable standards of performance, measure results, analyze workflow, and troubleshoot problems.
Supervise and coordinate activities of employees concerned with storing, inventory, issuing and shipping materials, supplies, tools, and equipment in warehouse.
Develop and maintain transportation procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.
Follow up on any issues regarding freight claims, UPS and truck. Also file appropriate paperwork.
Approve purchase requisitions for the warehouse.
Regular and dependable attendance.
Picks, stocks, processes, and assembles parts as necessary.
Qualifications Include:
5+ years of experience to acquire an appropriate knowledge of the specialized product line, customers, proficiency with ERP systems and company policies and procedures.
Experience with small part distribution to customers.
Strong ERP/barcoding knowledge.
UPS/Fedex and truck freight experience
A high school diploma is required, advanced education desired.
Must have excellent leadership abilities, communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
