Description

Under the direct supervision of the Lead Instructors (GED or Credit Recovery); follows a well-defined and outlined teaching program. Teaches specialized classes to promote the acquisition of study skills and General Education Development Classes. Motivates and evaluates cadet performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Prefers general knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Prefers ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Requires a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Employment Conditions

In order to be qualified for employment at LCA, final candidates must comply with the vaccination requirements.

Ability to maintain emotional control under stressful situations.

Ability to work with students individually or in group settings.

Ability to use email and office equipment effectively.

Ability to communicate and instruct cadets.

Elementary knowledge of behavior patterns and modification techniques of cadets.

A background in reading or mathematics is highly preferred.

Requires a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Education

Work Hours: You can be expected to work SOME holidays & weekends; Depends on Mission; (1/2 hr lunch)
