Summary:

We currently have an opening for an Office Assistant in our Marlborough, Massachusetts location. This is a full time in the office position Monday thru Friday.

Tetra Tech provides architecture and engineering services in support of Private Industry, State and local governances and Department of Defense, as well as allied foreign government agencies.

Your Role:

• Assist with minor printing and binding requests
• Call vendors for copier problems and call service provider as needed, when requested
• Purchase, monitor, and stock office/kitchen/ PPE supplies
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail daily
• Process and ship outgoing mail/packages per appropriate delivery method daily
• Submit work order tickets to the property manager for needed repairs/maintenance
• Set up and take down conference rooms as needed
• Add and remove mailboxes as needed for new hires and terminated staff
• Clean out/set up workstations with equipment and supplies as needed
• Clean office kitchen refrigerators and microwaves as needed
• Assist with administrative word processing, data entry and other administrative needs as requested.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in business or related field
• 0 to 4 years relevant experience
• Strong organizational skills and great customer service
• Have the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Basic computer skills a plus, ability to respond to email requests
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Due to the clients we serve, this position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card
• Must be able to pass background screening including criminal history, credit check etc.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds with the assistance of appropriate equipment

Additional Information:

You may be required drive on an occasional basis for business purposes, to do this, you will need a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check, and maintain a safe driving record.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18 to $23 per hour.
