Job description
Leading Freight Forwarder is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join the HR department. The HR Generalist will provide human resource support when it comes to internal investigations/incidents, project management, onboarding new employees, recruitment efforts, etc.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (ON-SITE)
Responsibilities:
- Creating a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
- Generating official internal documents
- Creating onboarding plans and educating new hires on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
- Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
- Collaborating with outside vendors, upper management and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
- Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Excel and utilizing formulas
- 2+ years experience in Human Resources
- 2+ years experience with Sharepoint and ADP
- Spanish is a PLUS
- Bachelors Degree in HR is a PLUS
