Short Description:

This position will assist state staff with the continuing design and development of Daily Event Management System(DEMS) and critical enhancements to the Fire Safety (FA) system in addition to the support and maintenance of approximately eight Java Web Applications and the development of any new java web based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain Java web applications throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Assist in Business Requirements collection and analysis.
• Assist in design and develop of prototypes.
• Write code and implement Java HTML XHTML JSP JPA JSF Hibernate Korn shell SQL and Web Services
• Develop database queries to retrieve update and delete data.
• Support/maintenance of eight Java web applications.
• Development of new java webbased applications.

Required Skills / Experience:

• 5 Years of programming experience in serverside Java web applications in a multitier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
• 4 Years experience writing queries stored procedures functions packages and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher
• 3 Years development experience in database design and object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in ORACLE 10g or higher.
• 3 Years experience with JQuery.
• 2 Years programming experience with JSF.
• 2 Years programming experience with JPA.
