Come grow with us! Trucent Industrial Group is growing and currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator with past setup experience. We are seeking flexible team members that are willing to roll up their sleeves and grow with us into the next generation. We currently operate 2-axis Okuma lathes and 3 axis Okuma mills. Future state CAPEX that is on track will lead to new multi-axis live tooling lathe and 4 axis milling capabilities. Previous setup experience is desired.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate various CNC lathes and CNC mills, including setup and tear down for job changes. Production minded individual that takes pride in workmanship quality, productivity.
- Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequence of operations.
- Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers or fixtures.
- Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut.
- Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly .
- Works hand in hand with existing CNC Machine shop team to meet schedule needs.
- Knowledge of G-Code and Fanuc controls is a must. Ability to read and edit code for minor operating adjustments and process optimization.
- Inspect, Deburr, Serialization, as well as Storage put-away of WIP and Finished Goods
- Work within Trucent safety guidelines and wear all required PPE.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor or team leader.
Position Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equal equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years of previous CNC experience preferred .
Skills and Abilities :
- Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- General knowledge of the skill trades including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills.
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
- Self-Starter, Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- High attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Capacity to do repetitive work and stand for long periods of time.
- Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals and Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 40lb.
- Ability to stand 90% of shift.
- Mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Training Required:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Forklift Certification is beneficial.
- Maintenance background a Plus.
