What You Will Achieve

This role is responsible for leading the Automation Support Team, which is comprised of Process Automation Technicians, Life Safety Automation Technicians, and an Automation Asset Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic plans for the Automation Support Department. They must have strong long term planning capabilities and will be required to make decisions from a wholistic perspective. This role will be responsible for fostering a safety centered culture, building a high performing team, and developing individual team members to allow them to reach their full potential.

This role manages all efforts to optimize maintenance and life cycle care for all the Process Automation hardware and software assets for the API Operations (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), the Site Utility and Environmental Systems as well as the Pilot Plant to secure supply reliability.

In this role the successful candidate will be managing the Automation Asset maintenance programs, Automation Development Systems, Automation Training Systems, Automation Backup Systems and the technical support and Automation Hub provider relations.

This role collaborates closely with API Automation Engineers, external technology and service providers, API Maintenance personnel and all operational customers.

In addition, there is a strong project management focus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,400.00 to $182,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
