Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their service needs, and effectively communicating vehicle issues and recommended services.
- Vehicle Diagnosis and Documentation: Consult with customers to gather detailed information about their vehicle concerns, accurately documenting symptoms and relaying them to the service technicians for efficient diagnostics.
- Service Recommendations: Discuss and explain service recommendations to customers, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing clear explanations of the work required and its benefits.
- Service Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule service appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of service department resources and timely completion of work.
- Upselling and Revenue Generation: Identify additional service opportunities based on customer needs and vehicle maintenance schedules, maximizing revenue for the dealership while maintaining transparency and customer trust.
- Parts Ordering and Inventory Management: Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of necessary parts, maintaining an organized inventory and efficient workflow.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, proactively following up on service visits, ensuring customer satisfaction, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Technical Knowledge and Training: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, service procedures, and warranty information to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
