VENTEON Finance is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide part time support in Southfield, MI. Assist in processing payments to vendors, providing support for questions, and reporting for month end close.


POSITION TYPE: Open ended contract. In the office, Monday to Friday 4 or 5 Part Time days per week.
PAY: $20.000 to $22.00 depending on years of A/P experience.


Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good data entry skills.
• 2 years of professional work experience in Accounts Payable.
• Full cycle Accounts Payable work experience from receipt of vendor invoice through payments.
• Computer skills with MS Office including Excel and experience working with an accounting or ERP system.

Duties of The Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Setting up and maintaining vendor records in the system.
• Retrieving vendor invoices from various sources.
• Code and match invoices, enter in the systems for processing.
• Answer internal and vendor questions regarding invoices/payments.
• Reconcile account differences.
• Run Accounts Payable reports at month end.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
