Recruiter Hustle is currently recruiting for a Senior-level General Ledger Accountant for a growing mid-sized public company. As a Senior GL Accountant you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our month-end closing process. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and collaborating on the development of financial statements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and completeness of assigned financial tasks.
• Lead project teams as needed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage month-end closing tasks, including foreign currency adjustments, eliminations, and expense allocations.
• Streamline the closing process by developing new procedures.
• Contribute to the development of global accounting policies for accurate financial reporting.
• Support internal and external reporting processes (e.g., monthly financial package, SEC filings).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• 6-9 years of experience in a related accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics D365) a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
