Full-Time/Part Time: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Assistant Professor serves in a joint tenure track assistant professor appointment between the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Engineering Technology. They are expected to teach highly effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and should have a strong potential for generating external funding for their research program and preferably have post-doctoral research experience or industry experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in electrical engineering and engineering technology and graduate level courses in microelectronics engineering and advanced manufacturing
• Establish a strong, externally funded research program
• Actively serve the departments, college, university, and community
• Conduct collaborative research with faculty across our campus

Also, if the official transcript(s) and other academic records are not in English, then they must be accompanied by a notarized translation. All costs associated with the evaluation service and notarization is covered by the applicant.
