The Collier Mosquito Control District (the District) has been in existence since 1950 and has evolved with the changes in the community. The District exists to control populations of both pestiferous and (potentially) disease-carrying mosquitoes throughout the community in which we all live. Contributing to a healthy, high quality of life in southwest Florida and beyond by upholding public trust, applying sound science, using best practices in mosquito control, economic responsibility, and an enduring search for solutions.

Brief Job Description
The on-call Spray Truck Operator position exists primarily to fill a pool of drivers who operate the Wide Area Larvicide Spray (WALS) and Ultra Low Volume (ULV) units on an as needed basis (primarily used May through October). Hours typically include morning (2:30 AM-6:30 AM) or night (8:00 PM-12:00AM) shifts.
The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team whose focus is on the public health and safety of the community we live in.
Due to the nature of this non-exempt, on-call position, it is not eligible for benefits.
