Job description

Title: CT Scan Technologies
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Shift: Night 11pm -7.30 am
Payrate: $60/hr max
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $60/hr max

Duties :

• Perform CT scans and other medical imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process
• Position patients correctly and operate the CT equipment to obtain high-quality images- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
• Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the scanning process and any necessary preparations

Skills :

Knowledge and Skills Required:

1. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body. 2. Understanding mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware. 3. Thorough knowledge of PACS system.
2. Maintains CEU Credits. 5. Team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within the twelve months following their hire date.
3. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within following three months of hire date.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

• 1. Six months CT experience preferred
• Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital
• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred.

Education:          

Education Required: 1. Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program. 2. High School diploma or equivalent. Required Certification/Licensing: 1. NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License. 2. ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required, 3. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Certifications & Licenses:            

• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license
• BLS - AHA
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
• High School diploma or equivalent
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
