Position Description:

The University of Iowa, Department of Internal Medicine Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism is seeking faculty members for positions at the rank of Instructor (non-track), or Assistant and Associate Professor on the clinical track. Duties will include inpatient consults at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) and outpatient clinics at Iowa River Landing (IRL) or Cedar Rapids. Salary is based on the applicant’s qualifications and responsibilities.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.

Education Requirement:

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree.

Required Qualifications:

Must have completed both an ACGME-accredited Residency Program and an endocrine fellowship from an ACGME accredited program.

Certifications:

Endocrine board certified or eligible.

Desirable Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience promoting an inclusive culture in the workforce and academic environment is desired.
