THE TYPE OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SPECIALIST
As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you administer patient care programs as planned and directed. Your responsibilities include assisting the OTR in performing tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures as necessary. You follow established departmental procedures and ensure the implementation of safety precautions during treatment. You also have the opportunity to confer with the supervising OTR on a daily basis or as needed to effectively progress the patient's program. In addition to providing Occupational Therapy services for children, you also have the opportunity to make classroom consultations and screening recommendations as necessary. This role requires a detail-oriented and compassionate individual who is committed to helping children achieve their highest potential.
