Job description
Job Position: Program Manager
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Payrate: $48/hr.
Shift Timing: Monday-Friday,9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Location: Trenton NJ
Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s) : Computer, printer, phone, etc.
Computer software to be used : Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel, REDCap or other survey tools.
Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience : Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience, Four (4) years of professional experience relevant to the position. Experience must be related to the journeyman title associated with the position. Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Job Description:
Maintain working knowledge of protocol, manuals, data collection forms, and other study related documentation.
Participates in the development and implementation of electronic case report forms (eCRFs)
Participate sin User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develops UAT plans, and reviews UAT findings.
Create and manage REDCap databases for research studies, including designing data entry forms and surveys, and setting up user access and permissions.
Trainer search staff on the use of REDCap, including data entry, quality control, and reporting.
Monitor data quality and perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Provide end user support of REDCap, including creation and management of user accounts, approving user requests for database changes, responding to user questions, and communicating best practices.
Provide end user training for use of the application and develop training materials.
Supervise other entry level REDCap administrators and the REDCap-related work.
Collaborates with internal and external clinicians and staff to document, analyze, and translate their needs into technical designs and informatics solutions.
Establishes a system of applications and tools to record, organize, store, secure and access research data.
Coordinates department implementation and usage of ad hoc systems, including development of related guidelines, training programs and resources.
Designs databases and data collection tools based on study protocols (e.g., case report forms, REDCap collection forms etc.).
Manages initial data collection and testing phases, as appropriate. Evaluates data quality and suggests approaches for data processing and cleaning to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
Maintains Research applications and systems, including data setup, problem and data integrity resolution, regular review and renewals, workflow design, and software upgrades.
Provides IS expertise pertaining to data collection and validation.
Manages data related projects in support of ad-hoc and standing departmental requests.
Collaborates with others to solve complex problems, developing new processes and methods to meet the everchanging research informatics and data needs of researchers.
Develops and expands on mechanisms for visibility and regulatory compliance within Research.
Provides project management and support for collaborative work and major improvement initiatives.
A strong candidate would possess:
3-5years of experience in research data management is preferred including experience using REDCap for research data collection and management.
REDCap knowledge and project setup experience.
Knowledge of best practices for research data management, including data security and quality control.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
Experience delivering software training and/or technical customer support.
