How you will Rock the Role:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning : Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Employee Recruitment and Selection : Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Payroll Management: Administer and process a weekly exempt/non-exempt payroll
- Compensation and Benefits Administration : Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentive programs, and employee benefits enrollment.
- Employee Relations : Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Training and Development : Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
- HR Policy Development and Implementation : Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
- Performance Management : Manage performance management system, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans.
- HR Compliance and Legal Affairs : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
- HR Information Systems (HRIS) : Manage HRIS software via Paylocity, maintain employee records, generate reports, and utilize data analytics for HR decision-making.
- Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR-related issues, providing insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and success.
- Employee Recognition: Plan and coordinate various company events such as wellness, teambuilding, appreciation, contests, summer and holiday parties, rewards programs, etc.
- Other duties as requested by your manager or other members of the leadership team
Talents and Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Management - preferred
- Minimum 5+ years related HR experience or equivalent, preferably in the manufacturing industry;
- 2+ years of HR Management experience required
- PHR/SPHR preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Paylocity, HRIS and Epicor experience a plus
