Corporate Counsel – Securities and Governance   

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: An hour north of Denver and ideally situated between Boulder, Fort Collins, and Greeley, JBS USA is one of the largest companies headquartered in Colorado. We are seeking a motivated and proactive attorney to join our legal team, with a focus on securities and governance and the talent and adaptability to handle the wide variety of complex legal matters you’ll find at one of the world’s largest global food companies.  

In this role, you will draw upon your experience to ensure our public subsidiaries’ compliance with reporting and regulatory obligations, including NASDAQ listing rules, SOX certification and other processes, equity-related matters, debt financings, treasury transactions, audits, and corporate governance. You will work closely with executives and other team members at the highest levels of the organization, supporting and advising the board of directors and committees, and preparing for and assisting with shareholder meetings. You will frequently collaborate with finance, treasury, tax, accounting, internal audit, and other teams across the Company to support business goals and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Additionally, you will stretch your skillset by frequently assisting with matters ranging from commercial transactions to litigation management.
