We have an immediate opportunity for Nursing Department Manager- NICU at Downey, CA with primary skills in clinical experience and Registered Nurse License

Candidate must have permanent work authorization and work for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future. Third party candidates are not eligible for this role.

• Job Type : Onsite

Sign-on bonus 10% of annual salary offered (some restrictions apply).

Job Summary: Manages the delivery of nursing services and safe patient care within assigned department and across the continuum of care. Manages the delivery of services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice, service priorities and performance/outcome measures, as well as with strategic, business and organizational goals/objectives.

Required (Non-negotiable)

• CA RN license
• American Heart Association BLS
• NRP
• RNC-NIC
• BSN or MSN
• At minimum candidate needs to have 5 years of FT equivalent level III NICU RN experience. Experience must be current or very recent.
• At minimum candidate needs to have 3 years of FT equivalent level III NICU Manager or Supervisor experience. Charge Nurse experience doesn't meet this requirement. Experience must be current or very recent.

Preferred (not required)

• MSN
• Management experience in a union environment
