Join the Kelly® team as an Inventory Associate to work at a premier food manufacturing client in Melrose Park, IL.

This is scheduled to be an approximately 3-month project. Good workers have a chance to be kept on and hired into the company!

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.50 per hour

What’s a typical day as an Inventory Associate?:

• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying root causes of inventory inaccuracies. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. This is a crucial role to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse.

• Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items.

• Record inventory counts using electronic inventory management systems or manual counting methods.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory.

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to address inventory issues and improve inventory accuracy.

• Assist with physical inventory audits as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the counting area.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED.

• Have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

• Can use inventory management software and handheld scanning devices.

• Have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Are able to lift and move heavy objects, as needed.

• Can frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.

• Have basic computer knowledge; use of Microsoft Office products and SAP software preferred.

• Are able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
