Welding Engineer | Permanent Role in Camden New Jersey
* US Permanent Residency REQUIRED *
$90,000 to $110,000 + Benefits + true Career Track
This Welding Engineer will support robotic welding for joining of large weldments, manual welding for overlay and cladding with close tolerance quality requirements including radiographic and ultrasonic examination of completed welds. Additionally supervision of welders and welding operators on critical operations will be part of this role, along with the proactive training of welders to insure they fully understand the equipment, operations and their documentation requirements.
Requirements are: Permanent US Residency or Citizenship , along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering (preferred), and at least 5 years of related experience in a large, heavy steel fabrication manufacturing operation, such as a shipyard, structural steel or bridge manufacturer, pressure vessel or tank producer, or similar factories producing large OTC pipe. A commitment to safety is an absolute necessity.
