Job description
GP Landscape, a full service landscape company is currently seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to work independently, proactively and safely while meeting the highest quality standards.
- Inspect, program, adjust and repair irrigation systems (valves, controllers, mainlines and laterals).
- Maintain safety standards all the time.
- Complete service requests in a timely manner. Monitor inventory and be responsible for all billing of the work performed.
- Attend after hour’s emergency calls when needed.
- Perform additional grounds care tasks when required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of all phases of irrigation systems including: operation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. A minimum of three (3) years irrigation experience is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of valve repair, mainlines, laterals, wire tracing, as well as controller operation and back flow troubleshooting and repairs.
- General knowledge of landscape maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work with Managers and other co-workers.
- Excellent communication skill (strong verbal and written).
