As a Breast Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with breast diseases, including performing surgeries and managing post-operative care. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
We seeking a full-time Breast Surgeon to join their growing team. This position will be based primarily in Reading with a rotation in the Pottstown region.
Their Breast Health program has earned national accreditation recognizing the excellence of the full spectrum of breast care, from screening mammography to the most advanced cancer treatments. The Breast Health Center has been designated has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. It has also been awarded three-year full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Brest Centers; a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

Base Salary - USD $355,000 to $375,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform breast surgeries, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, and breast reconstructions
- Conduct thorough evaluations and consultations with patients to determine the best course of treatment
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists and oncologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients on breast health and self-examination techniques
- Monitor and manage post-operative care, including follow-up appointments and medication management
- Stay current on advancements and developments in breast surgery and incorporate them into practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (allopathic/osteopathic)
Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency
BC/BE Surgery with completion of a Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology Fellowship
A valid PA medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.
Medical degree and completion of a residency program in General Surgery
Board certification in General Surgery and Breast Surgery
Active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Breast Surgeon
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
