Job description

Responsibilities of the Software Developer include writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of software. This person will also have responsibility to guide the existing Development team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Drives the requirement gathering process and the creation of functional specifications from clients.

· Developing, testing, and debugging of code in multiple programming languages. 

· Creating and implementing the software architecture and design plans.

· Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.

· Leading and delegating the work assignments to other developers.

· Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing or developed systems in a variety of different customer environments.

· Performs proactive application monitoring, maintenance, and documentation.

· Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments.

Requirements

· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 

· 3+ years of experience in software development. 

· Experience in manufacturing is highly desired, experience in real estate or health care systems industries.

· Prior experience implementing and supporting ERP or operational systems in a manufacturing environment, highly desired. 

· Solid experience in coding, modern web technologies, and user interfaces.

· Experience in consulting and working with offshore teams, highly desired.

· Good time management and communication skills.

· Experience with teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies. 

· Experience with database development, administration, and maintenance. 

Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, demonstrate critical thinking. Utilizing best practices develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem solving situations, able to meet deadlines and work unsupervised. 

Project Management: Coordinates projects to assure uniform product delivery, communicates changes and progress, completes projects on time and budget.

Technical Skills: Assesses own strengths and weaknesses, pursues training and development opportunities, strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, mentoring others, and shares expertise with others.

Computer Skills:

Desired : C#, ASP.Net, ASP .Net Core, JavaScript, Angular 2+, CSS, WPF/UWP, WinForms, T-SQL, MS SQL Server, Git Source Control, MS Office Suite, DevOps, Visual Studio, Azure Cloud.

Preferred: React, AI/ML, and IoT Concepts, PHP, HTML5, SSIS, Business Intelligence, SQL Reporting Services, Cloud – AWS (S3, Lamda, EC2, etc.), Serverless Architecture.
