POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Vertical Market Account Executive (VMAE) is organized around accounts within a vertical market/segment i.e. Education, Healthcare, Government, etc. The VMAE is expected to have an in-depth understanding of their assigned markets and/or customer's business needs, the buying centers for Tech's products and services and how Tech's products and services can help achieve their business goals, solve their business problems and satisfying their business needs. Becomes the "Trusted Advisor" among all buying centers within an assigned account whereby those buying centers choose the products and services offered by Tech Electronics, directly through the Direct channel or indirectly through the Service or Construction channel. Learns each account's buying behavior, and then matches Tech's systems to the benefits the customer seeks. Establishes and maintains a strong presence for Tech Electronics within their assigned markets and positions Tech as the preferred provider of communication systems and services within their assigned market. The VMAE is assigned a specific system, primary to their assigned vertical market/segment, and must be able to discover opportunities, design and estimate the system and close sales opportunities utilizing Tech's Sales Process for that assigned primary system.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Vertical Account Executive Role: Develops and cultivates relationships with accounts within the assigned Vertical Market in order to first grow accounts into Assigned Accounts and then into Strategic Accounts for Tech.
